A new milestone has been reached by Nouvlr in the works for the extension of the Montreal Metro. The excavation of the tunnel in the airport direction with TBM Alice, about 2.5 km long, has finally been completed.
After more than two years of excavation, despite the forced stops due to the pandemic, the TBM has finished its journey by removing more than 100,000 m3 of material which, thanks to the STM belt conveyor system, have been efficiently managed and moved.
Being part of these major infrastructural works makes STM proud and confirms STM Conveyor System as a reliable partner and leader in the handling of excavation debris in tunneling works.
