STM specializes in the engineering and supply of belt conveyor systems for bulk materials handling facilities. It provides worldwide innovative integrated solutions in order to increase efficiency, reliability and cost savings for its customers’ production processes.
STM Components is a company division of designs, engineering and manufacturing of components for the automotive sector. The machined parts are manufactured by processes of turning, milling, stamping and welding.
In 2009, STM decided to invest part of its resources in the production of energy from renewable sources. The decision came from an analysis of energy consumption that the company has to face due to its production operations. The analysis showed that the installation of its own energy source would allow a consumption reduction of over 60%.
