Very often belt conveyors are employed in the handling of inert materials such as gravel, sand and mixed granules for the preparation of concrete. The belt conveyors allow the extraction and the automatic weighing of granules needed for the preparation of concrete mix.
The installation plan usually includes a silo for storage and segregation of inert materials as well as a system belt conveyors system for dosing and feeding the inert materials to the concrete mixing plant.
