In March 2025, STM will join two major international events, taking the team to Canada and Brazil, at the heart of discussions on innovation in the mining and underground infrastructure sectors.

From attending PDAC 2025 in Toronto, the world’s largest event dedicated to mineral exploration, to the 6th Brazilian Congress on Tunnels and Underground Structures in São Paulo, STM is preparing for an intense month of meetings and new collaborations.

PDAC 2025 in Toronto: the world’s largest event for the mining sector

From March 2 to 5, 2025, Toronto will host PDAC 2025, an event that attracts over 30,000 professionals from around the world each year, with participants from more than 135 countries. The trade fair is a key reference point for those in the mineral exploration sector, offering dedicated spaces for new technologies, innovative projects, and investment opportunities.

STM’s Team will be present to explore new technological perspectives, focusing particularly on automation, digitalization, and sustainable solutions for the mining sector.

6th Brazilian Congress on Tunnels: Focus on infrastructure and sustainability

After Canada, STM will fly to Brazil, where, from March 10 to 12, 2025, it will take part in the 6th Brazilian Congress on Tunnels and Underground Structures, a key event for the geotechnical infrastructure sector.

With respect to this congress, organized by the Brazilian Tunneling Committee (CBT) and the Brazilian Association of Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ABMS), will focus on the theme “Development and Sustainability through Tunnels and Underground Structures.”
