We were very excited to see our belt conveying system in the video that our partner LIMAK Group has showed during the ICOLD 2022 Conference to present the Yusufeli Dam – the third largest dam of the world!
During the congress, the LIMAK group had the opportunity to discuss the challenges and the achievement of the project highlighting the collective efforts of the whole actors involved.
For this project, STM supplied an important belt conveyor system for the concrete placing on the dam body, proving once again to be a reliable partner and a constant presence alongside its customers.
The final stage of the Yusufeli project was reached on the last January, when the dam finally started to hold water. The dam will have a 2,900,000 m3 volume and an installed capacity of 540 MW.
